We call this our 'Scenic' season because spring and autumn are the most beautiful times of year to visit. In spring, wild flowers carpet the countryside with fields of firey-red poppies and hillsides of honey-scented yellow broom. In autumn, all the vines and the trees that line the roads turn vibrant shades of red, orange and gold. Tempreatures are cool (15C) to warm (25C) - and it's possible to sunbathe and swim. It's more relaxing than summer - perfect for walking, biking, sightseeing, wine tasting and enjoying seafood on the coast.

During our Calm Season the weather is sunny and temperatures range from cool (15C) to cold (5C). This is a great time to take long walks along empty beaches - followed by delicious seafood meals in Bouzigues or Marseillan Port. Snow-capped Pyrénées mountains make the southern part of the region particularly beautiful at this time. If you're looking to write a book, house hunt or just recover from one of life's traumas - we offer even lower 'long-term' per-night prices : €30 per night for 3 or more months, €40 for 2-3 months, €60 for 1-2 months. Simply contact us to find out more.
